Mission 1: Objective 3

Objective 3: Imagine
It’s 2021! Really?!

Technology
Technology is so fast paced. Every two to three months new models of cell phones, laptops, cameras and other gadgets, machines or appliances are introduced. Hybrid vehicles are now used by the majority. Though the threat of global warming already faded away, the world became more concerned to the environment because of the disasters, lives and money it cost for the past 12 years. Internet connection speed reached its fastest possible. South Korea surpassed Japan in terms of technological success. A lot of new things were invented and being invented. I can’t even imagine what the world will be like ten years after!

The Reigning World Power
Not like what everyone expected, the United States of America is still the world’s most powerful nation. The Americans elected its first ever woman president. It has successfully solved its debt crisis 5 years ago. Once again, the American economy boomed and its military power remained superior. China on the other hand, continues to gain power and is still a persistent threat to the United States.

The Global South
The Global South hasn’t changed a lot. Most of the countries remained there but some officially became a part of the Global East. The problems of the countries in the Global South for the past decades are still the same but slowly being worked out with the help of the Global North and specially the Global East.
